Qodobka 6aad: Calanka iyo Astaanta Qaranka
(1) Calanka Jamhuuriyadda Federaalka Soomaaliya, sida lagu muujiyey Jadwalka Koowaad (A) ee Dastuurka, waa laydi buluug furan ah oo ay dhexda kaga taal xiddig cad oo shan gees ah, madaxyo simanna leh.
(2) Astaanta Jamhuuriyadda Federaalka Soomaaliya, sida lagu muujiyey Jadwalka Koowaad (B) ee Dastuurka, waxay ka koobantahay gaashaan buluug ah, oo leh xiddaayad dahabi ah, dhexdana ku leh xiddig shan gees ah oo dheeh qalin ah leh, gaashaanka dushiisa waxaa ku yaal rukummo carbeed oo xardhan, lehna shan madax oo dahabi ah oo labada geesaha ku yaalla ay kala qaaran yihiin, hareerahana waxaa ka haya laba shabeel oo isu tusmaysan, kuna kala taagan labo waran oo isku weydaarsan caaradda hoose ee gashaanka, ayna weheliyaan laba caleen-cawbaar, mayrax cadna ay ku qoofalan tahay.
(3) Heesta Qaranka Soomaaliya waa "Qolobaa calankeedu waa cayn", sida lagu muujiyey Jadwalka Koowaad (C) ee Dastuurka, iyada ayayna Dawladda Federaalka iyo dawlad goboleedyadaba u isticmaalayaan munaasabadaha rasmiga ah.
(4) Billad sharafta calanka iyo Heesta Qaranka ee Jamhuuriyadda iyo maammuuska ay mudanyihiin dadka mutaysta waxaa xeer gaar ah ku soo saaraya Baarlamaaanka Federaalka Soomaaliya.
(5) Dawlad goboleedyadu waxay yeelan karaan calan iyo astaan u gaar ah, balse ma yeelan karaan hees astaameed iyaga u gaar ah.
Article 6: The National Flag and Emblem
(1) The flag of the Federal Republic of Somalia, as depicted in Schedule One (A) of the Constitution, is a light blue rectangle bearing at its centre a white five-pointed star with equal points.
(2) The emblem of the Federal Republic of Somalia, as depicted in Schedule One (B) of the Constitution, consists of a blue shield bearing a golden border, with a five-pointed silver star at its centre. Above the shield are carved Arabic spearheads with five golden points, the two outermost points being divided. The shield is flanked by two leopards facing each other, each standing on a crossed spear at the lower tip of the shield, accompanied by two palm leaves and surrounded by a white ribbon.
(3) The National Anthem of Somalia is “Qolobaa Calankeedu Waa Cayn”, as set out in Schedule One (C) of the Constitution, and shall be used by the Federal Government and the Federal Member States on official occasions.
(4) The Federal Parliament of Somalia shall, by specific legislation, prescribe the honours accorded to the flag and the National Anthem of the Republic, as well as the honours to be conferred upon persons who merit them.
(5) Federal Member States may have their own flags and emblems, but they may not have their own anthems.
