Qodobka 7aad: Geyiga Jamhuuriyadda Federaalka Soomaaliya

(1) Gobannimada Jamhuuriyadda Federaalka Soomaaliya waxay koobeysaa geyiga Jamhuuriyadda Federaalka Soomaaliya oo idil, oo ay ku jiraan berriga, badaha, webiyada, jasiiradaha iyo uurkooda hoose, hawadooda sare iyo geyi qaaradeedka iyo dhul iyo biyo goboleed kasta oo ku soo biira Jamhuuriyadda Soomaaliya, oo uu Baarlamaanka Federaalku ansixiyo.

(2) Dhulka Jamhuuriyadda Federaalka Soomaaliyeed lama kala goyn karo, lagumana xadgudbi karo.

(3) Xuduudaha Jamhuuriyadda Federaalka Soomaaliya waa xuduudihii ku astaansanaa Dastuurka 1960 ee Soomaaliya.

(4) Xuduudaha Jamhuuriyadda Federaalka Soomaaliya: a) Waqooyi: Gacanka Cadmeed; b) Waqooyi Galbeed: Jabuuti; c) Galbeed: Itoobiya; d) Koonfur Galbeed: Kenya; iyo e) Bari: Badweynta Hindiya.

Article 7: The Territory of the Federal Republic of Somalia

(1) The sovereignty of the Federal Republic of Somalia extends over the entire territory of the Federal Republic of Somalia, including its land, seas, rivers, islands and subsoil, airspace, continental shelf, and any territory or territorial waters that may be incorporated into the Republic of Somalia and approved by the Federal Parliament.

(2) The territory of the Federal Republic of Somalia shall be indivisible and inviolable.

(3) The boundaries of the Federal Republic of Somalia shall be the boundaries defined in the 1960 Constitution of Somalia.

(4) The boundaries of the Federal Republic of Somalia are: a) North: Gulf of Aden; b) Northwest: Djibouti; c) West: Ethiopia; d) Southwest: Kenya; and e) East: Indian Ocean.

Somalia’s sovereignty covers the entire country, including its land, seas, rivers, islands, underground areas, airspace, and continental shelf. Any additional land or waters that become part of Somalia must be approved by the Federal Parliament. Somalia’s territory is one and cannot be divided or violated. The country’s borders are those defined in the 1960 Constitution. Somalia is bordered by the Gulf of Aden to the north, Djibouti to the northwest, Ethiopia to the west, Kenya to the southwest, and the Indian Ocean to the east.
