Qodobka 2aad: Diinta

(1) Islaamku waa diinta dalka, dadka iyo dawladda Jamhuuriyadda Federaalka Soomaaliya.

(2) Diin aan ahayn Islaamka laguma faafin karo dalka Jamhuuriyadda Federaalka Soomaaliya.

(3) Waxaa reebban caayidda diinta Islaamka, nacaybkeeda iyo wax kasta oo wax u dhimaya xushmadda arrimaha diinta Islaamka. Qof kasta oo ku xadgudba diinta Islaamka waxaa lala tiigsanayaa xeerarka Jamhuuriyadda Federaalka Soomaaliya.

(4) Lama soo saari karo xeer aan waafaqsanayn Shareecada Islaamka iyo maqaasiddeeda.

Article 2: Religion

(1) Islam is the religion of the country, the people and the State of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

(2) No religion other than Islam may be propagated within the Federal Republic of Somalia.

(3) Insulting Islam, expressing hatred towards it, or engaging in anything that undermines respect for matters pertaining to the Islamic religion is prohibited. Any person who violates the Islamic religion shall be subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

(4) No law may be enacted that is inconsistent with Islamic Sharia and its objectives.

English
Islam is the religion of Somalia. The propagation of other religions in the country is not permitted, and insulting Islam, expressing hatred towards it, or showing disrespect for matters pertaining to the Islamic religion is prohibited. Any person who violates these provisions shall be subject to the laws of Somalia. All laws of the country shall also be consistent with Islamic Sharia and its objectives.
